« Numbers Racket» Glock’n Schpeel

High on the Hog

The Club for Growth’s 2007 Pork Scorecard contains about as much surprise as the outcome of a Harlem Globetrotters game, but if the low-tax, anti-pork group’s numbers reinforce anything, it’s that Democrats certainly aren’t kosher.  Tabulating 50 different anti-pork pieces of legislation, it appears almost all Democrats (and many Republicans) are hamming it up in D.C., with Minnesota proving not to be an exception.

John Kline – 100%

Michele Bachmann – 96%

Jim Ramstad – 84%

Keith Ellison & Jim Oberstar – 2%

Betty McCollum, Collin Peterson & Tim Walz – 0%

Kudos to the state’s three Republicans including the often wayward Ramstad on voting against earmarks.  As for our DFL representatives?  Oink.
