Big Love is a cult classic

Not since Seinfeld, have I felt the desire to tune in to every episode of a television show. Even The Sopranos didn’t keep me hooked every single week as it seemed to drag on a bit in the later seasons.

Big Love is the best drama on TV right now. The characters are interesting; the plot is suspenseful and full of twists. The subject of living in a polygamist marriage provides so many possibilities for the writers and they’ve explored many in a very believable way. Season 1 was good but Season 2 is even better. And most important of all, Bill Paxon has finally found a vehicle that really allows his unique style of “ably performed” acting to really shine through.

Only two more episodes remain this year and the time has moved back to Sunday night, in case you missed the announcement.
