It would explain a lot

The other day I mentioned I was giving the new FOX show Dollhouse a try. Friday’s episode was my favorite so far. It wasn’t bad, though I think they’re trying too hard to make Alpha a supervillain.

Anyway, I noticed something amusing. A scene at the beginning of Friday’s Dollhouse episode looked familiar, and sure enough… First, here’s a screenshot of the Dollhouse episode.

Dollhouse

24 fans, does that location look familiar? It should. It’s where we met First Daughter Olivia for the first time, in the 4-5pm episode. Note the leather sofa, the table behind the sofa, the lamps with the little scrollwork, and so on. Suddenly, 24 makes sense? Jack and the rest of them are dolls, and get their minds wiped after every episode. That’s why everything is so jumbled.

[...] First off, we have Jeff Kouba with not one, but TWO glorious posts at Truth v. The Machine. In 24 Day 7 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM he recaps the hour, including the secret love Bill harbored for Chloe. And my favorite sentence of the Carnivals so far: “In the subsequent chaos, approximately 28 of the remaining 4 Africans are gunned down.” Then, he confesses he actually watches Dollhouse and noticed a horrible secret connecting it to 24, in It would explain a lot.
